Help needed-pakistani recipe

garish-ness:

As Tumblr is international I hope that someone knows the recipe or at least the name of the dish so that I could try to find it somewhere in the huuuuuggeee internet world.

It´s a pakistani recipe a friends mother made for us long time ago. I don´t know where she´s living yet, don´t have  contact to the pakistani community anymore, means  I´m more or less helpless. ^^

The dish looks like a pancake, filled with boiled potatoes. Thought it could be sort of chapati, but I suppose chapati is more crispy than this “pancake”.

I know, not that much information but I hope that someone knows what I mean. :)

Here to help! You are most probably referring to “Allo Ka Paratha” which looks something like this (photo), is made somewhat like this (Recipe, video - sorry in Urdu but can give you an idea of how to make it).

If that is not what you were looking for drop in a few more hints and we might be able to do a little better.

p.s. Make it spicy and try it with yoghurt.
