Two Pakistani army helicopter pilots saved him and were later decorated with Slovenia’s highest award for bravery.
This rescue was hailed as one of the world’s most difficult rescue operation. Pakistani Army Aviation pilots had to even remove the batteries from their helicopter after starting it to make their helicopters lighter.
